Who or what do you consider as an icon?

Some of our icons...
Icons can take many forms - some are people from history, others are great inventions or just objects that we associate with a time or place. It could be a consumer brand that you relate to that has achieved 'iconic' status in your impression. Of course 'icon' in the modern sense can also be thought of as a symbol on your computer screen.

What we want to know is what do you think is worthy of 'icon' status. We hope to create a piece of art for our studio to take further the concept displayed as the main image in the Agency section of this site... Let the discussion begin!
