
Following a competitive pitch to the developers, Iliad Group, we were chosen to develop the identity for Liverpools newest five star boutique hotel, Layla.
We created various styling options whilst trying to capture the uniqueness of this opulent project on the site of one of Liverpool's most iconic buildings at the junction of Sir Thomas Street and Dale Street. Central to our proposal was the sourcing and specification of luxury materials and print finishes to capture the attention of a very discerning customers.
Our branding suggestions made extensive use of location specific iconology - elements that are directly linked to the history of Liverpool, such as the liver birds, royal crown and art noveau references.
